METHorMAB is a clinical trial sponsored by Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, funded by the NIHR Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Programme, and managed by Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit. The trial aims to compare methotrexate and adalimumab to determine which treatment is most effective and cost-effective for people with moderate psoriasis (defined as a PASI score of more than 5 and less than 10).

The results could help shape future NHS guidelines and improve care for thousands.
